The first load out and sail away was of the Bonga NorthWest Production Manifolds and Suction Piles on the 17th of July, 2013. The scope included the fabrication of two production manifolds (PM6 and PM7 -200 tons) and two piles (165 tons).

The scope included the fabrication of two Electric Distribution Module’s (28 tons), two Hydraulic Distribution Modules (15 tons) and two UTA and two ULS Mudmats (63 tons).

AVEON Offshore Limited (AOL), a wholly Nigerian owned Oil and Gas service company was awarded a sub-contract in 2012 by FMC Technologies as part of the Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company’s (SNEPCO) Bonga NorthWest Field Development Project.

Other works relating to the same Bonga NorthWest Field Development Project are the fabrication of Jumpers, X-mas trees & Tubing head frames which were also awarded to AOL in 2012 and delivery is in progress.

The project was executed at Aveon Offshore’s 240,000 sqm fabrication yard in Rumuolumeni near Port Harcourt; generated 300,000 production man hours without lost time incident and culminated in the successful load out and sail away of the transport barge.

This successful load out of these equipment constitutes a strategic milestone in the development of Aveon Offshore as a sustainable Nigerian fabrication yard serving the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria.
