Aveon Offshore celebrates the successful sail…

Aveon Offshore celebrates the successful sail away of the Foundation Support Structures (FSS) as part of Total Upstream Egina Subsea Production System (SPS) project

Aveon Offshore limited wishes to announce that it has successfully completed fabrication of six Foundation Support Structures and loaded out these components in respect of the Egina SPS project. The load out and sail away of these structures occurred at the end of last month.

Aveon has already delivered some of the project scope including sixteen Umbilical Termination Boxes and subsea tree fabrications (Frames, Permanent Guide Base and Gasmats) throughout 2015 and 2016. The fabrication of remaining subsea tree fabrications will be completed for delivery by the end of the 1st Quarter of 2017. The fabrication of six Manifolds is also close to completion which will allow delivery during the first half of 2017 together with five completed Subsea Distribution Modules. Twenty one multibore production well jumpers will be delivered throughout 2017 and 2018.

AVEON Offshore Limited, a fully Nigerian owned engineering and fabrication services company was awarded the contract by FMC Technologies for the fabrication and load?out of approximately 5,000 tons of subsea structures including six manifolds with associated Suction piles, various subsea tree frame elements, jumpers and control systems for the Total Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI) Egina Project in 2013.

The project is being executed by AVEON Offshore at its 300,000 Sqm fabrication yard in Rumuolumeni near Port Harcourt.

In order to accommodate the workload generated by the project, capex investment was made by FMC Technologies and Total upgrading Aveons’ site in Rumuolumeni. As a result a dedicated Carbon Steel workshop, Duplex welding facilities and Painting workshops of over 8,000 sqm, Electrical power and distribution and more were added to the yard’s existing infrastructure and existing premises such as Quayside were completely reinforced. The project has generated more than 3,000,000 productive man?hours in the last three years.

Aveon Offshore Limited awarded contract…..

Aveon Offshore Limited, a Nigerian oil & gas engineering and fabrication company, has been awarded a contract by National Oilwell Varco (NOV) Nigeria for the fabrication of Egina offloading buoy as part of the package for the Egina OLT contract for Total Upstream Nigeria.

The contract which was awarded in March 2014 for the fabrication of a 900 ton offloading buoy includes the fabrication of the 700 ton buoy hull, installation and integration of a 200 ton turret and the launching and pre-commissioning of the completed buoy.

Capital expenditure for the construction of a slipway for the launching of the buoy is also included in the contract.

“This contract enables Aveon to expand the breadth of its offering to the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry. It also demonstrates the confidence of our clients in our capacity and capability to deliver on schedule the components of this major project. We plan to exceed their expectations” says Tein George, Chairman, Aveon Offshore Limited.

The project will be executed at Aveon Offshore’s 240,000 sqm fabrication yard in Rumuolumeni near Port Harcourt and is expected to generate up to 250,000 man hours. The Sail away of the buoy is scheduled for the second quarter of 2017.

Successful sail away of the Erha……

Aveon Offshore limited wishes to announce that it has successfully completed fabrication, supported Manifold/Suction Pile testing and loaded out these components in respect of the Erha North Phase 2 project.

The load out and sail away of the 5 suction piles, production and water- injection manifolds and Riser Base Lift Module with Choke Loop Bridge occurred in four batches between October 2014 and March 2015 with the final batch of 5 Mudmats with Foundation Base and 2 Production Manifolds with Pigging Loop sailing away on the 5th of April, 2015.

Other works such as the fabrication of the Xtree elements are currently ongoing and delivery is on schedule.

AVEON Offshore Limited, a fully Nigerian owned engineering and fabrication services company was awarded the contract by OneSubea Offshore Systems Nigeria Limited for the fabrication and load-out of approximately 1,200 tons of subsea structures including 5 manifolds and modules with associated suction piles, various Xmas tree frame elements and control system foundations for the Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (EEPNL) Erha North Phase 2 Project in 2013.

In order to accommodate the workload generated by the project, a dedicated 2,000 m2 high-bay workshop was added to the yard’s existing infrastructure.

For achieving this feat, AVEON has received high commendation from Oddvar Bryne, Project Director OneSubsea offshore systems Nigeria Limited who stated thus:

“A day to remember, the total Manifold scope complete and last ENP2 manifold loaded onto the barge. An overall manifold scope delivered successfully and I do believe one of the most successful projects delivered from Aveon ever. I will never forget this team ever and you will be remembered in the OneSubsea/Cameron System for sure for an outstanding performance. Well done”

The project was executed by AVEON Offshore at its 280,000 Sqm fabrication yard in Rumuolumeni near Port Harcourt and generated over 550,000 productive man-hours of over 20 months.

Shell Nigeria, FMC and Aveon Offshore…….

AVEON Offshore Limited, a wholly-owned Nigerian oil & gas service company (formerly known as GRINAKER-LTA Construction Nigeria Ltd) has recently secured a contract from FMC Technologies Ltd, Nigeria for the fabrication of major components of the Subsea Production System (SPS) for the Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) BONGA North West Project.
